Celebrating the visual, performing, written and audible arts, the festival will take place in the arts district known as SOBO (South Boyne), at Peninsula Beach Park, a beautiful area with ample lawn and open space on the shore of Lake Charlevoix, voted 2nd best inland lake in the entire nation.

Always held on the last Saturday in June, the SOBO Arts Festival offers a variety of local, regional and statewide artists, writers and musicians. The festival also provides weekend long entertainment and attractions featuring a juried art show, music, workshops, demonstrations and activities for kids.

Artists from throughout the state will display their work in booths and authors will be on hand for book signings. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase art as well as observe from the pros at the workshops and demonstrations.
